The mission of the Rockwood Public Works Department is to provide the citizens of Rockwood with safe and dependable roads and streets to travel, and to maintain these city streets during inclement weather and throughout the year. The department also provides reliable and efficient garbage pick- up, other non-household garbage disposal, spring cleanup, fall leaf pick- up and other recyclable opportunities including used oil, cardboard, aluminum cans, mixed plastics, newspaper, mixed paper and other items. The department strives to provide city services second to none.
